I know this is kind of weird, but…
I told myself I would read Eyes Closed to Fingers Crossed this Summer, but I’m kind of terrified.
The magnitude alone is daunting…and the potential feels…

I'm kind confused, did memories fire deleted everything and left because of stupid comments ? Does anyone have some kind of contact with her ? I really miss her fics, and i never got the chance to finish reading These Strange steps...

Hello, Anon! Let me see if I can help you out.
First, you should check out tumfslove. It’s a TMF appreciation blog (that I run).
TMF actually submitted a letter of sorts explaining a lot of things. You can read it here.
Also, all of TMF’s completed works (including These Strange Steps) can be found here.
Anything incomplete or otherwise TMF related can be downloaded from the tumfslove dropbox. If you are confused about anything in there, just shoot me another ask.
And, I mean, I’m sure there is someone in the vast world that is tumblr that has contact with TMF, but I don’t know them, so I can’t help there.

I think it’s because AoCC was so incredibly NOT funny, that we can’t manage to make it funny.
This is solid logic. That story was 100% angst and feels. The only thing remotely funny about it was Finn on his period.

So I am almost finished with I’ve Been Trying to Reach You. And it’s really messing with my headcanon for That Bitch and Her Three Exes. At least, musically anyway.

Dammit. I mean, now I basically have to work my ass off because people are going to make comparisons and I don’t want to be a joke.
AND SHE”S NOT EVEN AROUND ANYMORE. UGH.
Whenever I write updates for Break And Bend, there’s this little voice in the back of my head that auto-compares me to tumblrfamous writers, mostly tmf because I use parentheses in a similar way to her.
Normally, I’m like, “I’ll never be as talented as some people, so whatever.” But there are just certain similarities between essentially this fandom classic and my story that are going to be hard to ignore.

I just saved the URLs tumflove, fythememoriesfire, and tmf-fans. I figured they were more catchy than tmf-appreciation-society. Although, that one is still available.
Really though. What would this blog consist of? I’ll run it, I guess, but it would need to be more than just my opinions on TMF. Otherwise I’ll look like a creepy stalker….

- In Depth fic discussions? Like a book club? (lol)

- A What Would TMF Do section? (WWTMFD)

Q:yeah… haha. ^^ Yeah I did those TMF-bookcovers. And thank you for your kind words, but sadly it didn't stop tumfs from being bullied or leaving this fandom altogether. Man… I wish there could be some kind of secret circle, noone knows about besides the people who, you know, don't have the need to bitch at tmf. So we'd be able to still get her snarky comments and awesome stories. I actually planned to expand my TMF cover series in future. But without any stories… hard to do :/

There should be a secret TMF Appreciation Society, at the very least. Like a place where people can vent or something. Or just talk about her stories without reservation.
It seems like people need it. If only TMF could see us now…she would probably call us crazy. Haha
